With operations in approximately 50 countries and distribution in more than 180, Wrigley’s brands impact consumers across the globe. In order to prepare for long-term challenges, Wrigley partnered with Big Red Rooster to revolutionize the front-end shopper experience at checkout and beyond.

Our objective was to provide Wrigley’s global retail partners with solutions that would outline risks/opportunities, provide a competitive advantage, revolutionize the front end and drive profitable results within the space. We sought to create a strategic retail innovation platform to support our objectives.

We kicked off the project with extensive research. We built on an existing knowledge base by reviewing additional research, store audits, in-store shopper observations, in-depth qualitative shopper research, and more. We transformed the Discovery Phase insights into big ideas through an ideation session. Our team visually embodied the strategic solutions identified in the ideation session, serving as a platform for retailer-specific solutions.

A dynamic video presentation summarized findings, supported internal buy-in and helped Wrigley share findings with retail partners. Our work helped Wrigley elevate its thought leadership, stay ahead of its competition and drive front-end sales.
