ALDI needed to elevate its brand and deploy a new millennial-pleasing shopping experience. Working together, ALDI and Big Red Rooster delivered a Modern Market Concept. The newly designed, efficient, and replicable store now communicates quality, freshness, and convenience, in addition to value.

Solution

The new ALDI delivers a millennial-pleasing shopping experience expressing the brand’s true value — high quality at low prices. A bespoke web portal called ALDI Shopping Cart provides a one-stop shop for design materials, specifications, and more for all 1,700 stores across 30+ states, ensuring brand consistency and communication across the portfolio.

With newly remodeled stores opening at double the expected sales increase, customers are clearly responding to the changes. ALDI is now committed to remodeling 1,300 existing stores by 2020 and opening 900 new stores by 2022.
