American Express Returns to the 2019 US Open Tennis Championships.

Inspired by American Express’ signature Centurion Lounges, American Express created an oasis within the Louis Armstrong Stadium for guests to recharge while enjoying a day at the US Open Tennis Championships with The Centurion® Suite.

From brand patterns to a green wall to highlighting premium refreshments, brand elements are applied throughout the lounge.

The Centurion® Suite features iconic design elements subtly reference the sport of tennis. Upon entering the space, card members are greeted by a green wall comprised of moss set within metal lattice representative of the weaving on a tennis racket. The brand is highlighted within the space by American Express branded media walls with custom panels feature layers of routed grid patterns referencing tennis rackets and the lines of the tennis court markings. The space also features wall sconces that evoke the moment of impact between tennis ball and racket.

Signature elements strategically positioned around the suite reflects the refreshed visual identity of American Express. Bold branding on the exterior and at reception, with textural grays and wood tones that are overlaid with pops of blue throughout the interior highlight iconic elements of the AMEX brand.

A variety of seating types provide visitors with opportunities to relax or mingle, with views of the main plaza of the National Tennis Center

With the US Open currently ongoing, we’re excited – and a little envious – for the tennis fans and card members who get to experience the American Express Centurion® Suite.
