Big Red Rooster wins industry awards
Brand experience firm recognized as design leader, influencer
Columbus, Ohio October 14, 2011 — DDI Magazine, a retail-focused trade publication, honored Columbus, Ohio-based multidimensional brand experience firm Big Red Rooster with two 2011 Portfolio Awards.
The magazine, which focuses on store design, visual merchandising, architecture, branding and marketing, named Big Red Rooster one of the Design Firms of the Year.
“Within the past year, Big Red Rooster grew exponentially, opening additional offices in Atlanta, Boston, Columbus and Phoenix,” CEO Martin Beck said. “Growing and thriving in a difficult economy is a testament to our multidisciplinary associates, innovative senior leadership and exceptional clientele.”
DDI Magazine also recognized Big Red Rooster President Aaron Spiess as a Retail Design Influencer.
“This honor is both exciting and humbling,” Spiess said. “We love sharing our clients’ successes, and it’s inspiring when our talented people and remarkable client work receive industry recognition.”
According to DDI Magazine, the Portfolio Awards recognize the best, brightest and most innovative people, projects and companies within the retail design industry. Winners were chosen through an annual reader survey.
Spiess accepted the awards on Sept. 23 at the annual DDI Forum in Boston.
